A brand new way to strengthen your army is coming to the game - Implants! These are high-tech augmentations that allow you to fine-tune your favorite mercenaries and make them incredibly powerful.
In this article, we'll explain in detail how the new system works, where to get Implants, and how to get the most out of them!
What are Implants?
Implants are a new type of equipment. By equipping them on your mercenaries, you get massive boosts to base stats (like Health or Attack), as well as enhancements to the mercenaries' unique skills.
Each Implant has a set of unique properties:
- Bonus: A fixed value by which the Implant increases a stat (for example, Health: 89 ➔ 101).
- Shape: Determines exactly which slot on the mercenary the Implant can be equipped in (hexagons, rhombuses, etc.).
- Affiliation (Filters): Implants are tailored for specific fighters. Some are universal, while others require a match by Faction (Freemen, Syndicate, etc.), Class, or Subclass (Guardians, Fighters, etc.).
- Rarity and Tier: There are 7 rarity levels for Implants in the game (from Common green to Exotic). The higher the rarity, the more bonuses and Might the Implant will add to your mercenary.
Slots and Core Upgrade
Implants can only be equipped on the most powerful fighters - Legendary mercenaries.
Each such mercenary has 6 unique slots for Implants. You can only equip an Implant that strictly matches the slot's shape and filters.
Slots are not immediately ready to accept top-tier equipment. Initially, they have a base rarity, and to equip more powerful Implants into them, you need to perform a Core Upgrade for the character.
How Core Upgrade works:
- Core levels directly depend on your mercenary's Reboots (the spark/lightning bolt icon). The more times they have been rebooted, the higher the Core level available to them.
- Unlocking new Core levels increases the rarity of all the mercenary's slots, allowing you to equip higher-quality Implants.
- Bonus Rewards: By upgrading the Core, you will collect valuable rewards! Among them are Red "Amor" Orbs, which help develop relationships with mercenaries, as well as additional resources. Rewards are unlocked using Microprocessors.
How to get Implants? Synthesis in the Shop
The main way to expand your augmentation collection is the new Synthesis tab (located in the Shop).
- Components: This is your main resource for synthesizing new Implants. You can obtain Components by completing daily and epic quests, or by dismantling unwanted Implants.
- Synthesis Levels: The more Components you spend on Synthesis, the higher the level of the Synthesis feature itself becomes. With each new level, your chances of synthesizing high-rarity Implants increase significantly!
- You can synthesize Implants one by one or use the MAX button.
- Microprocessors can drop during Synthesis.
- Rewards are given upon reaching a new Synthesis level.
Collection Management: Dismantling and Automation
You will have a lot of Implants, so we've added a convenient interface to manage your arsenal.
- Equip Best: Don't want to spend a long time digging through stats? Tap the "EQUIP BEST" button in the mercenary's profile or directly in the Collection. The game will automatically select and equip available Implants that provide the maximum Might increase!
- Dismantle Implants: Any unwanted Implant can be dismantled in the Collection window. Use the convenient rarity and faction filters, tap "SELECT ALL" ➔ "DISMANTLE SELECTED" to turn accumulated junk back into Components (for new Synthesis).
- Auto-Dismantle: You can set up automatic dismantling in the Synthesis window. Specify lower rarities, and upon receiving them, these Implants won't clutter your inventory but will instantly be converted into resources.
Implants in Battle
Your new Implants will work in battles, giving you a serious tactical advantage over your opponents. The Might of all equipped chips is added to your squad's total Might.
When viewing an opponent's profile, you will be able to see how well-equipped their mercenaries are (the number of occupied slots, the rarity of equipped implants (the diamonds below the Reboot icons)), and assess their overall Synthesis level.
(Note: In special event PvP modes, Implant bonuses may be disabled to maintain balance).
Express Yourself: Customization Items
Alongside Implants, we are thrilled to introduce brand-new Customization items! Now you can truly personalize your profile and make your Alliance stand out.
- Profile Customization: You can unlock and equip new Avatars, Avatar Frames, and Backgrounds. For Alliances, we’ve added new Alliance Emblems, Backgrounds, and Colors.
- Customization Packs: These items are obtained from special Customization Packs. Don't worry about duplicates - if you open a pack but already own all the Customization Items of that type, the game will automatically grant you a substitute pack or a generous resource cashback!
- Alliance Crests: Alliance Leaders can design the ultimate Alliance Crest using the Customization items unlocked by any current member of their Alliance. Work together with your Alliance members to unlock the most epic combinations!
Tip for Commanders: As soon as you reach the required League and perform at least one Reboot on your first Legendary mercenary, the game will guide you through the tutorial and reward you with your first free Synthesis!
Good luck finding the perfect builds for your fighters!
